Virginia M. "Ginny" Laylon, 90, formerly of Milton, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at the Nippenose Valley Village.
She was born on Aug. 15, 1934, in Benfer, Snyder County, a daughter of the late Charles N. Hare and Arietta (Ernest) Thomas.
She was married to Robert Brown, who preceded her in death in 1988.
Ginny had been employed at the PhilCo in Watsontown and for 25 years at Moore Business Forms in Lewisburg, retiring in 1994 and had also worked at the Sheraton in Danville.
Surviving are three sons, David, Michael, and Sheldon Laylon; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie Swartz and a sister Betty June Hare.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown with Pastor Butch Woolsey officiating.
Arrangements are by Hummel Funeral Home 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
