Robert W. Loss, 85, of Troxelville Road, Middleburg, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 26, at his home.
He was born Nov. 9, 1939, in Centre Township, a son of the late Earl R. and Laura (Jordan) Loss.
On June 6, 1966, he married the former Arlene M. Meiser, who preceded him in death on Oct. 30, 2012.
Earlier in his life, he had worked for Jasper Products in Watsontown and retired after 35 years of service with Wood-Mode in Kreamer. He also enjoyed the family farm.
He was a member of Zion Fellowship Church, Middleburg, and a former member of the Penns Creek Volunteer Fire Company.
He also enjoyed hunting, old tractors and, along with his wife, collecting peanut butter glasses.
Surviving are a son, Luke L. Loss, a daughter Mary A. (David) Buchanan, three grandchildren, Rebekah Loss, Earl Loss, and William Buchanan.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Zion Fellowship Church, 1366 Zion Road, Middleburg with Pastor Roger Clotfelter officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Church Cemetery. Contributions to honor Robert's memory may be made to WellSpan of Evangelical Hospice.
