Robert E. Dock, 84, of Middleburg, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Wellspan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.Born on May 19, 1941, in Sunbury, Robert was a son to the late Roscoe C. and Ruth M. (Rice) Dock. After graduating from Middleburg High School, Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army. Following his time in the military, Robert became a self-employed truck driver, a career he was passionate about. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Dale E. (Schenck) Dock; two sons, Robert R. Dock (Kathy) and Eugene L. Dock; four brothers, Tom, Edwin, Gary, and Jeff Dock; three sisters, Janice Ritter, Margie Morrison, and Linda Contrestan; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley and Elsie. A viewing will be held from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill Street, Middleburg followed by the funeral service at 11:30 AM with Rev. Kathy Mercado officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Hartleton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill Street, Middleburg.
