Patricia Ann Troutman, 84, of Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born with a gentle spirit and generous heart, Patricia lived her life with simplicity, compassion, and unwavering love. She was known by many and loved by all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Patricia was the proud owner of Troutman’s cleaning service, which she operated for 17 years. She also dedicated many years as a dietary aid at Susquehanna University, where her kindness and work ethic touched countless lives.
Above all, Patricia treasured her family. She is survived by her children, David Hook and wife Angela, of Middleburg, Tammy Nerhood and husband Doug of Beavertown, Tony Hook of Tower City, and Nicole Garr and spouse Daniel of Halifax; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life; four sisters Lena Weigel, Sara Harner, Margaret Steimling, and Bonnie Kuhns, and a brother Bob Gross.
Patricia is proceeded in death by her mother Roma Gross, father Stanley Gross, husband of 17 years, Vernon Troutman, sister Bess Defranco, and brother Bill Gross.
Patricia will be remembered for her warm smile, her compassionate soul and the deep unconditional love she offered to everyone she knew. Her presence was a gift, and her memory will continue to be a blessing.
