Oran R. Heimbach, 87, of Middleburg, passed away at home on April 13, 2026, with his wife by his side.
Born July 4, 1938, he was a son of the late Charles and Ruth (Shaffer) Heimbach.
On September 6, 1959, he married the love of his life, Charlotte M. Kauffman.
Oran worked various jobs throughout his life but spent most of his time as a dairy farmer. After retirement he enjoyed restoring tractors.
Oran attended Richfield Evangelical Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons and four daughters, Bruce (Diane), Wanda (Wes) Groff, Adrian Eilene (Steve) Van Splinter, Janet (Theron) Brandt, Cindy (Chuck) Culp, Randy, and Jason (Samantha); 28 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.
Oran has two brothers, Albert (Mary) and Clair (Evelyn); and one sister, Helen (Leroy) Reinard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Elden; sister-in-law Carol; and one son-in-law Matthew Smith.
A viewing will be held at Richfield Evangelical Methodist Church, 13247 PA Route 35, Richfield, Pa 17086 on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 6-8 PM and again on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 10-11 AM with the funeral service to begin at 11 AM with Pastor Troy Shaffer and Pastor Chad Mowery officiating.
Burial will follow in Susquehanna Mennonite Church Cemetery, Port Trevorton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill Street, Middleburg.
