Mary L. Arnold, 89, of rural Port Trevorton, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her home.
She was born June 23, 1935, at Mansfield, a daughter Jesse and Mettie (Benner) Crockett.
On July 11, 1952, she married Samuel L. Arnold, who preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 2006.
Mary had been employed as a seamstress at Blough and Wagner Manufacturing, Middleburg.
She attended the Church of Christ and Christian Union, Mount Pleasant Mills.
She enjoyed camping with her husband.
Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Surviving are two daughters Connie L. (Glenn) Heintzelman and Grace D. Sarver; one son, John M. (Deana) Arnold; six grandchildren Jesse (Amy) Heintzelman, Glenn Jr. (Chrissy) Heintzelman, Samuel Heintzelman, Michael (Annette) Straub, Tammy Straub, and Brian (Shawntai) Sarver; ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother Bill Crockett; and one sister Pat (Dale) Zaring.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Larry Sarver; three brothers, Kenneth, Donald, and Harold Crockett; and two sisters, Joyce Crockett and Katie Fry.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 12, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ and Christian Union, Route 104, Mount Pleasant Mills followed by the funeral at 11 with Rev. Marty Adams officiating.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Church Cemetery, Liverpool.
Arrangements are by Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
