Lee Earl Hollenbach, Sr., 80, of Beavertown, went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.He was born on September 26, 1944, in Jackson Township, Snyder County, Lee was the son of the late John and Cora Hollenbach. On January 8, 1967, he married the late Mary Herman Hollenbach. Lee attended Ulrich’s Country School and was employed by Klinger’s Feed Mill as well as a farmer. He retired from Mifflinburg Farmers Exchange Feed Mill. He attended Wayside Bible Church before his illness. Lee loved his family, and they loved him. Lee thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. When he was able, he enjoyed hunting with his son and great grandsons and fishing with his son. He is survived by one son, Lee Hollenbach, Jr.; one daughter, Sherry (Tim) Reich; five grandchildren Kahla and Wesley Peters, Robin and Dustin Hartzler, Kimberley Reich and Faith and Autumn Hollenbach; five great grandchildren Anyssa Peters, Kaden Peters (girlfriend Savanah Goodyear), Collin, Carter, and Cameron Hartzler; two brothers and four sisters John Jr. (Betty) Hollenbach, Agnes Hufnagle, Carol Knepp, Jean Cory, Linda Sassaman, Dean (Steph) Hollenbach; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son Drew Hollenbach; two sisters Mary Gemberling and Ethel Gearhart; three brothers in laws Charles Hufnagle, Richard Cory, and Lyle Sassaman Sr. A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Wayside Bible Church, 14083 PA-104, Middleburg from 1-3 PM where the funeral service will begin at 3 PM with his son in law, Pastor Tim Reich, officiating. Burial will be in Zion Church Cemetery, Middleburg. Arrangements by Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill Street, Middleburg.
