Larry E. Oberdorf, 74, Middleburg    

Larry E. Oberdorf, 74, of Middleburg passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at his home.

He was born August 5, 1951, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Walter R. and Edna (Aikey) Oberdorf. On July 29, 2000, he married the former Wendy L. Hackenberg who survives.

Larry was employed as a cooker for American Home Foods.

He was a member of the NRA, ASPCA, and the American Legion. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, racing, watching boxing, and politics.

In addition to his wife Wendy, Larry is survived by three daughters, Lorrie (Russ) Woods, Michele (Steve) Ketcham and Annette (Mike) Krecic; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Andy) Leiby, Jeffrey (Bethany) Kitchens, Avery (Chandler) Young, Abigail Krecic, Ella Woods, and Ryan Krecic; seven great-grandchildren; and five siblings.

Larry was preceded in death by one grandson, Tyler Woods.

At Larry’s request, no services will be held.
