June R. Yost, 73, of rural Middleburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Jan. 3, at the Select Specialty Hospital at Penn State Health Holy Spirit, Camp Hill.
She was born June 1, 1952, Lewisburg, a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Knepp) Dauberman. She was a 1970 graduate of Middleburg High School. On Dec. 20, 1975, she married Vernon R. Yost, who survives.
June was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Beaver Springs. She loved her church and being involved in its ministry. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and was an avid reader.
She found great joy in her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 50 years are two sons, Justin (Rebecca) Yost and Jeremy (Nichole) Yost; two stepchildren, Sheila Amey and George Yost; four grandchildren, Michael, Abigail, Aleisha and Addison; step-grandchildren, Salicia, Ashley and Terry; brothers and sisters, Linda Newcomer, Jerry Dauberman, Carol Cook, Alfred Dauberman, Gloria Kratzer and Kenneth Dauberman.
She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Marjorie Mitch, John Dauberman Jr., Beatrice Guernsey and Robert Dauberman.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, followed by the funeral at 11 with her pastor, Rev. Dr. E. Denton Mallonee officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown
