Judith A. Keister, 76, formerly of Beaver Springs and Middleburg, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, at Greenwood Village, Lewistown.
She was born Nov. 23, 1948, in Lewisburg. Judy graduated from Selinsgrove High School and on May 17, 1968, married Solomon F. Keister, who preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 2009.
Her work history included Kinney Shoe Corporation in Beaver Springs, Tye Markets, Shrawder Minimart and IGA Market in Middleburg.
Judy attended St. Peters Independent Bible Church, Beavertown, she enjoyed crocheting, word find books, spending time with her family as well as dining out with friends and family. She loved anything with peanut butter and found particular pleasure with her puppy Dixie Lee.
Surviving is a daughter, Lori A. (Wayne) Clouser; two sons, Duane E. Keister (Pamela Roush) and Steven D. Keister; son-in-law, Earnest Long; four grandchildren, Keisha (Tyler) Gardner, Steven S. Keister, Hank Clouser, Karly Landis, and two great-grandsons, Caleb and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Long, and a granddaughter, Vanessa Clouser.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 17, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Independent Bible Church, Middle Road, Beavertown, followed by the funeral at 11 with Rev. Alvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Troxelville Union Cemetery.
