John S. Jordan, of 124 West Market St., Middleburg, peacefully journeyed to his eternal home on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025.
He was born on March 26, 1930, in Kissimmee to Corbett Garfield Jordan and Mazie Cristabell (Steimling) Jordan. He married the former Bernice Marie Stuck on June 26, 1949. Her passing on Feb. 7, 2022, ended a 72 year union.
John was a heavy equipment operator, specializing in crane operation, working out of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542. He was an avid golfer and golfed his final game this past summer. He also enjoyed walking his beagle, Dazey Mae, every day rain or shine.
John is survived by three children; a daughter Barbara (Robert) Richendrfer; two sons John C. (Stacy) Jordan and Timothy (Jane) Jordan; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Jesse, Kenzy, Katie, Max, Kari, Elizabeth; and eight great-grandchildren, Sydney, Chase, Rose, Ben, Mila, Kalani, Gia and Violet.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice, his parents, three siblings in infancy, a sister, Jeanette, and a brother, Nolan.
Private graveside services will be held at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Selinsgrove at a later date.
