John D. Brofee

John David Brofee 55 of Millerstown passed away on November 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease/ ALS.

John was born on April 7, 1970, in Camp Hill, PA, son of late Edward Carl and Sandra Lee (Crane) Brofee. He was a 1988 Graduate of Greenwood High school. John attended Penn State University from 1988 to 1992 for Agricultural Science. After college John went on a harvest crew traveling the Midwest all of summer of 1992. John was a lifelong farmer and co-owner of Nekoda View Farms (Family Farm) alongside his brother Keith. John enjoyed his time around the farm and could often be found working on lawn mowers and other equipment. John was a member of the Greenwood Grange #1852 for 10 years where he served as Grange Master and enjoyed making BBQ chicken. John was proud to be 20 years sober. John volunteered in many different roles in the community.

John is survived by his mother, siblings - Joan Marie Byers and husband Troy D., Keith E. Brofee and wife Wendy and Scott A. Brofee and wife Jami, all of Millerstown; seven Nephews, Cody, Nevin, Devon, LeRoy, Owen, Blake, Vance & Emmitt.

There will be no viewing, friends and family are invited to a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. Saturday November 15, Turkey Valley Church in Millerstown PA with Pastor Wyatt Taylor, officiating. Burial will be a private graveside committal service at a later time.
