Donna M. (Derr) Cousins

Donna Marie Cousins, 79, of Middleburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Rolling Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Millmont.

Born on September 29, 1946, in Hershey, she was a daughter to the late Charles W. and Arlene (Peffley) Derr. She was married to the late Thomas L. Cousins who passed in 2022.

Donna was employed as an aide at the Kreamer Christian Academy and the Children’s Discovery Center. Following retirement, she devoted her time to family and friends.

Donna had a strong love for animals, God and His Holy Word. She found great joy in her faith and in the time, she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the center of her life. Her kindness, compassion, and devotion to her family touched the lives of all who knew her and will be remembered always.

She is survived by three children, Tammy M. Zechman (Nathan), Connie L. Landis (David), and Carol L. Reichenbach (Thomas) all of Middleburg; grandchildren Jessica Reichenbach, Bradley Zechman, Cassandra Reichenbach, Andrew Reichenbach, and Ashley Bauman; great grandchildren Erica and Elliane Zechman; and a sister Linda L. Bechtel (Frank Henry).

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Derr; and a grandchild, Ethan Landis.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 10:00 -11:00 AM at Bible Baptist Church, Kreamer with a memorial service to begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Dressler officiating.
