David A. Lenig Sr., 64, of Middleburg passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at his home. He was born May 27, 1960, in Sunbury, a son of the late Russell H. and Judy (Foreman) Lenig.
David married the former Sharon L. Swope on March 3, 1985.
He was employed for 40 + years at K & L Feeds, Selinsgrove as a mill operator.
David enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors.
Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 40 years is a son David Lenig Jr., stepchildren Buffy Ramer (Nathan Fisher), Freedom (Marla) Ramer, nine step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, brothers Kevin (Leslie) Lenig and Cory (Kelly) Inch, sisters Lori Frits (John Weaver), Kelly Lenig Hoffman, and Denyelle (Clint) Heiser, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson and his grandparents who raised him Russell Sr. and Mary Lenig. A celebration of Life Service will be held on a later date, at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions in loving memory of David to the funeral home.
