Christi M. (Dorman) Martin

Christi M. Martin, 55, of Mount Pleasant Mills, passed away unexpected on Monday, March 24, 2025, at her home.
She was born Aug. 16, 1969, in Kelly Township, Union County, a daughter of Richard B. McFalda A. (Klein) Dorman of Winfield. Christi was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School and the McCann School of Business. On Dec. 11, 1993, she married Kraig A. Martin, who survives.
For more than 20 years, the family has operated Martin’s Family Hardware, Mount Pleasant Mills.
She had served with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fremont Fire Company for many years. 
Christi enjoyed bowling, especially with her friends on the Thursday Night Women’s League at Selinsgrove Best Bowl.
She also enjoyed picnics and parties with her friends and family, and particularly Sunday morning breakfast with her family.
She found her greatest joy in life to be her family and especially her sons.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are two sons, Derrick J. (Megan) Martin of Mount Pleasant Mills and Dillion R. Martin and his companion, Willow, of Port Trevorton; a sister, Cheri (Bill) Swineford of Winfield, and their son Tyler Swineford; as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews, and her faithful friend, her German shepherd, Copper.
She was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Blis.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Christian Union, 5230 Route 104, Mount Pleasant Mills, followed by the funeral at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Marty Adams officiating.
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills.
Contributions to honor Christi’s memory may be made to the Fremont Fire Company, Mount Pleasant Mills.
