Arthur Leroy Musser

Arthur Leroy Musser, 90, of Lewisburg, formerly of Middleburg, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewisburg.

Born on November 23, 1935, in Spring Township, Snyder County, Arthur was a son to the late Roy and Anna (Weaver) Musser. On December 30, 1953, he married the former Edith Scholl, who preceded him in death following her passing in 2004.

Arthur attended Beavertown Gods Missionary Church.

He was a dedicated poultry farmer for various employers, including Matterns Hatchery and Kreamer Feed.

Arthur thoroughly enjoyed hunting, as well as supporting the Philadelphia Phillies. He was a devoted family man, cherishing every moment shared with those he loved most. His commitment to his church and his faith guided him throughout his life.

He is survived by sons Paul (Bonnie) Musser, David (Sue) Musser, Sr., John (Nancy) Musser, Sr., Timothy (Debra) Musser, and Thomas (Shirley) Musser; daughters Sarah (Joe) Masser and Ruth (George) Toner; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by brothers Ray, Charles, Ralph, and Clair; a sister Shirley Laughman; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill Street, Middleburg from 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Beavertown God’s Missionary Church, 1653 Creek Road, Middleburg with Rev. Soloman Shaffer officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 am until the start of the funeral service.

Burial will follow in Beavertown God’s Missionary Church Cemetery.
